Career move

Some of you know that I am a classical musician. I've played viola for years and have played in symphony orchestras for years as well. S and I think it's time for a change. We are planning to move to the Northeast to open a teaching studio (violin & viola). (that's one of our logos up top..you can buy cool logo gear here)

While we plan, I won't be posting as much (in case you noticed I haven't posted much in the last month or two). I have to concentrate on setting up both our online Skype lessons and trying to network with folks in the Northeast. That's where my focus needs to be, because we really want this....and soon.

I still post fairly regularly on my Facebook page and on Twitter, so please follow me there. And I will try to post here occasionally as well.

We are also trying to save money for the move now, so I cannot purchase fancy vegan cheeses, etc anymore :( I will be trying to make the most of what I can get at my local grocery store.

If you DO know of anyone that needs violin or viola lessons, please feel free to send them to our website:

We have always concentrated on performing, but now we will concentrate more on teaching! Please spread the word, if you can....it would really help us out!

Thanks for understanding,
Eat smart,
T.

  1. So sorry to hear but it is great you two are going to have a new studio! Exciting!

I was going to contact you but how about posting ever so often on my site? I am going to start a series that focuses on musicians that love to cook. I would love to include you. Also if you know of any other musician that blogs let me know too!

    1. I think I'm going to make you a warm scarf, because you'll need it. Are your clothes vegan too or just your food?

Also, good luck to you...I wish you were coming here instead of east, but you'll make a better living out that way.

  2. Thanks Noelle....maybe sometime when I'm not quite so busy! Sounds like a great idea though, looking forward to reading :)

Haha, thanks Dianne! Well, I do not buy any clothing made from dead animals (leather, etc.). I do the best that I can for non-food items like clothes and cosmetics. Maybe you'll come visit us out east.

  3. Best of luck on your new business venture! If only you had started about 14 years ago... I played violin when I was in middle school. ;)
